Power & Performance is part of our core program to deliver special training in engine/vehicle modification. Graduates will be prepared to test for ASE Certification.

Our hands-on labs are state-of-the-industry classrooms where you’ll find equipment and instructors ready to prepare you for a great career as a well-paid motorcycle technician, often using bikes straight from their assembly lines. You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of how engines work, and then progress into fuel systems, electrical systems, power and performance—all the advanced technology of today’s motorcycles.

At UTI, we couple “best of class” tools, processes and instructors in state-of-the-industry classrooms. Then stress hands-on training. It’s the UTI difference. CRRT graduates get into collision repair sooner. UTI students take on non-structural and structural repair, refinishing and customizing, and mechanical and electrical repair. Graduates earn NATEF/ASE Certification Credits and are prepared for ASE certification testing.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of how marine engines work—outboard, stern drive, two-stroke, four-stroke, diesel—and then progress into fuel and electrical systems, hull design, trim and tilt.

Talk versatility. In the Industrial course segment, you’ll tackle agriculture, construction and excavation equipment. The Diesel segment trains you to service Class 3-8 diesel trucks from air brakes, fuel systems and power trains to advanced diagnostic systems. You’ll deal on transport refrigeration and hydraulic applications too. This is uber hands-on training—all in UTI’s state-of-the-industry classrooms.

You’ll be trained to troubleshoot, service and repair automobiles and ultimately learn advanced techniques for building and testing a competitive NASCAR engine.
